WE HAVE A PASSION FOR CARS.
Cody, a Service Consultant with GPO, is a lifelong enthusiast with a special place in his heart for BMW’s. He started in the auto industry in 2015 and has since worked with established service centers, honing his skill for customer service. His father had a shop where Cody spent as much time as possible while growing up. Just before his 18th birthday, Cody enlisted in the Army National Guard. Since enlistment, he’s served in 6 different countries and countless missions. When not working (and sometimes while working), Cody is online learning more about cars. Cody has owned six BMW’s in the last five years and is always looking for his next one.
A native of Chicago, Shawn has been into European cars almost as long as he’s had a driver’s license. Being a longtime friend of GPO and recently returning to Nashville after a decade long absence, Shawn jumped at the chance to help Doug and the crew in the office. Shawn attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and spent the majority of his career in the Outdoor Industry in both the retail and wholesale sides of the business. When he’s not at the shop, Shawn enjoys anything that gets him outside, hiking, backpacking, paddle sports and fishing. You’ll find Shawn up front in the office talking all things Audi/VW or anything with a long-roof between helping keep German Performance Options the premier European vehicle repair and maintenance shop in Nashville.

After graduating at the top of his class from Universal Technical Institute, Nik pursued a career at an independent shop, honing his diagnostic experience and knowledge on both domestic and import vehicles. His true passion and specialty has always been focused on Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche models. His uncompromising pursuit of technical knowledge, skill sets, professionalism, and determination have led him to join our team and begin the next chapter of his automotive expertise. Nik is a comprehensive automotive enthusiast and owns a rare 2004 Volkswagen R32 as well as a 1977 Ford F150. He enjoys spending time and traveling with his girlfriend, Casey, who is also an automotive enthusiast and welder by trade. From his humble beginnings, playing with the carburetor on his dad’s pick up at 12 years old, Jake has not been able to keep his hands off cars since. Originally a hobby, Jake used his skills in automotive maintenance and repairs to pay his way through college and eventually remained in the industry despite his non-related degree. “I like to help people. I like it when someone brings me their broken car and I get to return it to them running perfectly afterward. That, and I have a deep passion for anything BMW.” With the notion that “tradition hinders progress,” Jake never worked for any BMW dealership. Instead, he gained his wealth of knowledge working with some of the best BMW technicians in the US over the past 10 years. As an ASE certified technician, Jake excels at electrical and engine diagnostics as well as performance, suspension, chassis, interior and pretty much all things BMW. Jake traveled to Nashville, TN from San Diego, California to join the GPO team. He is happy to service your BMW or MINI, and promises that you will be extremely satisfied. Even if you are traveling far distances, like coming from Columbia or Murfreesboro, European Auto Repair is guaranteed to make you smile at GPO Tuning(German Performance Options).
