WE HAVE A PASSION FOR CARS.
GPO is driven to be the best. We want nothing more than to perform beyond your expectations. Everyone on the GPO team is not only motivated to provide exceptional performance we are all auto enthusiasts. When we recommend maintenance it’s because we know what your car needs. We know what breaks, what wears out, what to look out for. We are constantly learning those things as newer cars age. We try to stay ahead of that by watching the trends. If we see a certain car has a certain part go bad with some regularity we begin to educate our customers that drive similar cars. Prevention is much more cost effective than damage.

Doug started his career in the auto industry building race cars with his dad. Once he was old enough, BMW hired him and he quickly went through factory training. Working at a few BMW dealerships, Doug moved to Nashville and made the switch to Volkswagen and was trained there as well. With the idea to create an independent European automotive shop, Doug created German Performance Options, first renting space at another well-known shop then moving in 2003 to its current location at 1227 Lebanon Pike. Doug experienced the all too common ups and downs of business ownership. In 2015 Doug invited Corey and Justis to partner up. This team has lead GPO to become the premier independent European shop Doug started out to create. Corey was born and raised in Nashville, has had a lifelong fascination with cars and how they work. Growing up playing video games, loving motorsports and cars he found himself working on his own cars out of necessity. While going to high school and later college he found opportunities to turn his interest in cars into a way to generate revenue. While switching majors from business admin to technology Corey was spending time at German Performance talking to Doug about how to upgrade his car. It was during those afterhours bench racing sessions Corey decided to pursue a career in the auto industry. Corey worked at GPO, then went to the dealer where he quickly became the go-to Volkswagen technician in the Franklin area. Years later when the opportunity to return to GPO as a partner presented itself, Corey made the leap into entrepreneurship. Together with his partners, Corey verifies the quality of the work at GPO and works with his team to efficiently work through the ever-increasing volume of cars that GPO services daily. In addition to building a business Corey has been building a race car, an Audi Quattro and most importantly building a family, Corey and Kristin welcomed their son Hudson home in 2016.
